The judicial commission, which is investigating the violence in November 2024 in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, has shocked the Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ziaur Rahman Burke to record the statement on 16 April. SP MLA’s son also sent notice
The Commission has sent a notice to SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke from Sambhal by sending a notice that he will have to cooperate in the ongoing investigation and appear on the scheduled date to record his statement. Along with this, the Commission has also issued a notice to the son of senior SP MLA Iqbal Mahmood and he has also been directed to appear on 16 April.
SIT questioned for 3 hours
The SIT had questioned Ziaur Rahman Burke for 3 hours on Tuesday. The sword of arrest is hanging on them. SIT is trying to find out whether Burke was behind the violence. He is accused of being involved in Sambhal’s Jama Masjid violence.
SP MP surrounded by many allegations
Earlier, cases of power theft were registered in a private house built in Sambhal of Ziaur Rahman Burke. Apart from this, a case of building several storey houses without map and possession of land is also registered against him. SP MPs are surrounded by many allegations.
