Veteran comedian and Bollywood actor Sunil Pal, who was reportedly abducted earlier this month, has thanked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and expressed his wish for him to continue leading the state. In a video, Sunil Pal said, “Hello friends, I am Sunil Pal. As the whole country knows, on December 2, I was involved in a kidnapping incident near Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. You might have heard about it.”

He added, “But I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Yogi government, the UP government, under whose direction the Meerut police and UP police bravely handled this case and took strict action against all the culprits.”
He then went on to share, “One of the culprits was shot in the leg during an encounter, and they are being given the strictest punishment. Soon, the truth will come out, and you will know who all were involved in the kidnapping.”
The comedian expressed hope that no one else experiences such a serious incident in Uttar Pradesh. He added, “And how could our Yogi government not handle it, right? Respected Yogi ji, I pray to God that you always remain a successful Chief Minister of UP in the future as well. Keep guiding the police like this. “Satyamev Jayate.”
On Tuesday, December 3, Sunil Pal’s wife, Sarita, filed a missing person complaint with the Mumbai Police. However, just hours later, she announced that he was safe and had returned home, calming his fans, who had been alarmed on social media.
Later, a video released by Sunil on X claimed that he was abducted on Monday while in Delhi for a show. “I was kidnapped on December 2 but now I have returned home safely. I have given my statement to the police. I will share more details once the police procedures are complete,” he informed his fans and admirers.
Sunil Pal stated that the abduction occurred in Delhi, near the border towards Meerut, and assured his fans that he would share more details later. He also thanked them for their love and asked for their prayers.
Meanwhile, Sarita Pal informed the Mumbai media that her husband had returned home safely, was in good health, and had already provided his statement to the police.
