Yorker King T. Natarajan was signed by Delhi Capitals for Rs 10.75 crore in the IPL mega auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The base price of the left arm fast bowler was Rs 2 crore. Last season, he took 19 wickets in 14 matches for Hyderabad. Natarajan’s full name, born on April 4, 1991 in a small village in Tamil Nadu, is Thangarasu Natarajan. His childhood was spent in extreme poverty. Natarajan’s mother brought him up by running a chicken-fish shop in a cart near a liquor shop. After gaining wealth and fame, T Natarajan has built a cricket stadium in his village Chinapatti. T Natarajan has played one Test, two ODIs and four T20 International matches in his international career. He has taken three wickets each in Test and ODI and 7 wickets in T-20 International. In 2017 IPL, Virender Sehwag bought him for Punjab Kings XI by paying a price of Rs 3 crore.
