Govinda in Talks with Mukesh Khanna – ‘Avatar Hui Offer, 18 Crore Giving James Cameron’, Govinda claim

Bollywood hero number 1 Govinda was in the headlines due to rumors of divorce from his wife Sunita. But now he has come into the discussion due to one of his statements. Govinda has claimed that film maker James Cameron offered him the lead role in an avatar for Rs 18 crore. The actor further revealed that he had also suggested the title of the film to Cameron.

In a conversation with Mukesh Khanna, Govinda said, ‘I have left an offer of Rs 21.5 crore and I remember this because it was very painful to leave it. I met a Sardarji in America and gave him a business idea that came in handy. A few years later, he introduced me to James Cameron. He asked me to do a film with James, so I called him to dinner to discuss it. I gave the title of the film- Avatar.

‘James told me that the film’s hero is Viklang, so I said that I am not doing this film. He had offered me 18 crores for this and said that I have to shoot for 410 days. I said okay, but if I paint on my body, I will stay in the hospital.

Govinda regrets refusing?

Govinda further said, ‘Our body is our only means. Many times, some things look very attractive in a professional way, but you also have to see their effects on your body. Many times, you have to apologize to people for years to refuse a film. Even though they are close, their ego is very strong.

Let me tell you, Govinda and wife Sunita have been married for 37 years. Rumors of divorce created a sensation everywhere. But it was found out that wife Sunita had given the notice of divorce 6 months ago, after which there was a reconciliation between the couple. Talking about the workfront, Govinda is going to return to Big Screen soon after 6 years. He recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil show.
