PM Modi met KP Sharma Oli, what did India-Nepal say? – Nepalli Prime Minister kp Sharma Oli Meets Narendra Modi in Thailand Bimstec Summit Ntcprk

During the ongoing Bimstec summit in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a bilateral meeting with Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. During this meeting, the two leaders reviewed the strong and unique relations between India and Nepal. PM Modi and Oli expressed satisfaction over digital connectivity, contact between people and progress in energy.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, during the meeting, the two leaders agreed to further increase the partnership between India and Nepal in every field.

PM Oli took office last year and this is his second meeting with PM Modi after he became Prime Minister.

Giving information about the meeting with Nepali PM, PM Modi wrote on the social media platform X, ‘There was a good talk with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Bangkok. We discussed various aspects of India-Nepal’s friendship, especially energy, connectivity, culture and digital technology. We also talked about the positive results of this year’s Bimstec summit, especially about disaster management and maritime trade.

The PM of Nepal has also tweeted a tweet about the meeting in which he has called PM Modi a dear friend. He wrote that talks with PM Modi were quite successful and positive. He has also thanked PM Modi for the meeting.
