A shocking incident occurred in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning in which two children died. In fact, a woman jumped into the pond with her three children, killing two children. This incident is from Sherpur Gopaliha village of Aurai police station area of the district.
According to the report of the news agency, the incident took place around 10 am when Annu Devi, 35, jumped into a pond near the village with her children Deeksha (8), Suryansh (6) and Divyansh (3). As soon as the police came to know about this, the rescue operation was started with the help of local police and divers.
Bhadohi SP Abhimanyu Mangalyik said that the bodies of initiation and Divyansh have been recovered from the pond with the help of rescue teams and villagers, although Annu Devi and his son Suryansh are still missing. Rescue operations are continuously continuing to find them, in which the team of fire brigade and divers are engaged.
SP Mangalik said that at the moment it is not clear why the woman took such a big step. The police is investigating the cause of the incident and the family members of the woman and the people around are being questioned so that the cause of suicide can be detected.
According to the local people, the woman was under mental stress, but it has not been confirmed yet. This incident in the village has mourned and people are shocked how a mother took such a step with her own children.
At present, the police have sent the bodies of both the children for postmortem and the missing mother and son are being searched fast.
