Two innocent children died tragically after drowning in a pond in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The accident happened on Sunday evening, when both the children went to the pond playing and fell into the water and drowned.
How did the accident happen?
According to the report of the news agency, the police said that the dead have been identified as two -year -old Sumaiya and three -year -old Ajf. Sumaiya came to her maternal grandmother Sirsali Khurd village with her mother Rukhsana. Both children suddenly went missing on Sunday evening.
Family members discovered the children for a long time, but they were not found anywhere. After this, the police was informed and the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the village was scrutinized. In the footage, both the children appeared playing near the pond. When in doubt, when searched in the pond, the bodies of both the children were recovered from there.
As soon as the bodies of the children were found, there was chaos in the whole family. There is also an atmosphere of mourning in the village due to the death of innocent people. The family cremated both the children on Sunday itself. After this painful incident, the police have appealed to the villagers not to leave the young children alone and stop them from going to reservoirs, ponds and wells.
