Matthew Wade Appointed Assistant Coach of Gujarat Titans for IPL 2025

New Delhi: Former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Wade will re-join the IPL 2025 with Gujarat Titans. This time he will play the role of assistant coach. 37 -year -old Matthew Ved Ashish Nehra (head coach), Parthiv Patel (batting coach), Ashish Kapoor and Narendra Negi (assistant coach) will be part of the team’s support staff. Wade has played 12 matches for Titans in two seasons (2022, 2024). He scored a total of 161 runs.

Wade’s coaching career starts

Matthew Wade retired from international cricket in October last year. He made his debut for Australia in 2011. Played 36 Tests, 97 ODIs and 92 T20 International matches in his career. He also captained Australia. Immediately then started the role of Andre Boroweke’s under -coaching for the T20I series against Pakistan. During this time the head coaching staff was preparing for the Test series against India.
