League organizers have released the list of 574 players, which includes 366 Indian and 208 foreign players. After retention only 204 slots are left. Punjab Kings have the highest amount of Rs 110.50 crore, while Rajasthan Royals have the least of Rs 41 crore.

Auction outside India for the second time

This will be the second time the IPL auction will be held outside India. This time the base price of players will start from Rs 30 lakh, which is Rs 10 lakh more than last time. Other base prices are Rs 40 lakh, Rs 50 lakh, Rs 75 lakh, Rs 1 crore, Rs 1.25 crore, Rs 1.50 crore and Rs 2 crore. A total of 79 sets have been made for this auction. They will start with two sets of marquee players, each set will have 6 players, which also includes last season’s captain KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer.

The biggest question is, at what time will the IPL 2025 auction start? According to Jeddah local time, IPL mega auction will start at 12.30 pm. There is a time difference of 2 hours and 30 minutes between India and Saudi Arabia. That means in India it will start at 3 pm.
