Take bath in Mahakumbh, keep these things in mind, administration issued advisory – Mahakumbh Prayagraj 29 Janaury Advisory Issue Mauni Amavasya 2025 Snan Date Time LCLNT

The administration has issued a detail advisory for the ‘Amrit Snan’ to be held on Wednesday on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya in Mahakumbh. In this, the devotees have been appealed to follow the safety rules and cooperate with the officials. It is believed that lakhs of devotees will come to Sangam Ghat for this holy bath. Keeping this in mind, the administration has made complete arrangements.

Tight security arrangements
Police-administration has taken strict measures for security and mob management. Teams of police forces, traffic officials and special doctors posted in the fair will be active for 24 hours, so that they can be helped in any emergency.

Senior Superintendent of Police of Mahakumbh Nagar Rajesh Dwivedi said, ‘Special and arrangements have been made for Mauni Amavasya. There is an appeal to the devotees to cooperate with the police, be cautious and seek help on any need.

Guidelines for devotees
Use the prescribed lane to reach Sangam Ghat.
After bathing, immediately leave the ghat and move towards your home or parking area.
Be patient on barricades and bridges, avoid haste and pushing.
Take care of health and environment.
Go to regional hospitals for health related problems.
Use utensils made of paper, jute and clay to protect the environment.
Avoid the use of plastic bags and utensils.

What caution is to be taken?
Avoid staying on the way in the big group and being a part of the crowd.
Do not pay attention to rumors and misleading information.
Avoid spreading wrong information on social media.

What is the arrangement at Sangam Ghat?
The administration has appealed to the devotees that all the ghats are sacred. To avoid congestion, first of all reach the ghat, take a bath.

Please tell that bathing in the confluence on the day of Mauni Amavasya is considered very auspicious. Mahakumbh has started from 13 January and will run till 26 February.
