It was recently announced that Pooja Hegde will star opposite Thalapathy Vijay in his highly anticipated film, Thalapathy 69 – a landmark project in his illustrious career, as it marks his final film before he retires and moves into politics. The excitement surrounding this collaboration has already reached fever pitch, especially with the two actors reuniting after their previous film, Beast in 2022.

While it is a known fact that the filming for Thalapathy 69 has kicked off, actress Pooja Hegde too has been keeping her fans updated with glimpses from the sets. As the shoot progresses, the actress is now Tamil Nadu shooting for the same and decided to share this update with her social media fam. In a recent Instagram story, she shared a serene view of Chennai, where the team is currently shooting. Captioning the post, “Chennai Mornings Day 16,” Pooja revealed that her day began early at 6:30 am, adding the hashtag #T69, which has fueled excitement among fans.
Readers would recall that the makers kicked off the puja ceremony for the film in early October this year and photos from the same were also posted on social media. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions, this pan-Indian film will also star Bobby Deol as the lead antagonist. However, details of the venture are strictly being maintained under wraps. Set to release in October 2025 in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, Thalapathy 69 promises to be a grand tribute to Vijay’s legacy.
Meanwhile, in addition to Thalapathy 69Pooja Hegde is also working on other projects that includes Shahid Kapoor starrer Devi and Suriya’s untitled film with Karthik Subbaraj that is being referred to as Suriya 44.
