Towards the end of the trailer launch, the family unveiled rare pictures of them. One picture that stood out was a young Hrithik Roshan with Rajinikanth on the sets of Bhagwan Dada (1986). Hrithik played the child actor in the movie.
Hrithik Roshan said about this snap, “This is the picture of an ignorant, little foolish boy who had no idea that he was standing with the greatest legend of all time! For me, he was Rajini uncle.”
He continued, “I used to talk to him like ‘Yes’, ‘No’, ‘Yes’, ‘No’. I had my way with him. Today, if I get a chance to work with him, I will be very different. I will realize the burden and the weight of the moment that I am sharing screen space with him.”
He further said, “He was very gentle and giving. I messed up a shot and Rajini sir used to take the blame. He would say, ‘Sorry, sorry, sorry, my fault’. But it was my fault. Every single time I made a mistake, Rajini sir took the blame so that I, that child, would not get conscious!”
The Roshans premieres on Netflix on January 17.
