Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has compared the conditions of minority communities in Bangladesh with that of minorities in India. This has given rise to a new political controversy. Many BJP leaders have condemned the statement of People’s Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti, and have also demanded the Jammu and Kashmir government to take action against her and termed Mehbooba Mufti’s remarks as ‘anti-national’.
What did Mehbooba say?
Mehbooba Mufti said on Sunday that atrocities are being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh, if atrocities are being committed against minorities in India too, then what is the difference between India and Bangladesh? I don’t see any difference between India and Bangladesh.
This statement of Mehbooba Mufti has come amid the ongoing protests in Bangladesh against Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das.
Regarding the controversy over the Sambhal Masjid survey, Mehbooba said, “The Sambhal incident is very unfortunate, some people were working in shops and they were shot. Ajmer Sharif Dargah, where people of all religions pray and who This is the biggest example of brotherhood, they are also trying to dig to find a temple there.
Mehbooba claimed that the country is returning to the situation of 1947, the former Chief Minister claimed that we are being taken in the same direction (1947), when the youth talk about jobs, they do not get jobs. We don’t have good hospitals or education. They (government) are not improving the condition of the roads, but are trying to demolish the mosque in search of a temple.
