Thousands of police candidates sitting on protest against Bihar government, know the matter – Bihar police constable passed candidates protest in patna for non creamy layer and EWS certificate demand after result
Bihar Police Constable Exam Passed Candidates Protest: Thousands of candidates who were successful in Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Examination are now protesting indefinitely. They allege that in the advertisement issued by the Bihar government for constable recruitment in July 2023, EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and NCL (Non Creamy Layer) certificates were not demanded, but now after the exam results, these certificates have been asked. Demands are being made.
Candidates say that when the advertisement for constable recruitment examination was released in July 2023, the requirement of these certificates was not clearly mentioned in it. Now, after the declaration of exam results, EWS and NCL certificates are suddenly being demanded by CCC (Computer Science Certification), due to which there is deep resentment among the candidates.
Certificates were not asked at the time of application
On this issue, the candidates say that when they applied, these certificates were not required, so many candidates did not understand the need to get them made. Now, when the examination process has been completed and the results have been declared, suddenly these certificates are being asked for, which is creating problems for many candidates.
Candidates say that now they have to spend extra time and money to prepare another certificate. The decision of the Central Selection Board (CCC) to ask for EWS and NCL certificates for the year 2022 is wrong, because now it is not possible to get these certificates. Thousands of successful candidates have sat on an indefinite strike in Gardanibagh, Patna since Monday regarding their demands.
So many candidates were affected
Due to CCC asking for two additional certificates, at least 35,000 to 40,000 candidates are being affected. Let us tell you that in 2023, advertisement was issued by the government for vacancy on 21391 posts of Bihar Police. Many student leaders, including many teachers preparing for the Constable Recruitment Examination and many teachers preparing for the Physical Examination, have come out in support of the candidates who have sat on an indefinite strike since Monday. The physical test of the candidates successful in the written examination of constable recruitment examination is to start from 9th December.
