There was a stampede at New Delhi railway station on Saturday night. Due to which 18 people died. While many people were injured. The injured have been admitted to LNJP Hospital for treatment. In this stampede, Pappu, a resident of Sonpur, Bihar, lost his mother -in -law. He told that if his mother -in -law had been taken to the hospital on time, his life could have been saved.

Pappu was going to Danapur with his mother -in -law

After the accident, Pappu told that my mother -in -law died. He was close to 50 years old. We came on the platform at 4 pm in the evening. We were going from Delhi to Danapur in Bihar. Going from Danapur to Sonpur and waiting for the train on platform 15. Meanwhile, there was a stampede around 9 pm. Due to which many people were buried.

At the time when the stampede took place, police and administration people were also not present. Those who were buried, their families were removing them. My mother -in -law was also buried in a stampede and fainted. But the ambulance did not arrive on time. If the ambulance had come on time and was taken to the hospital, his life could have been saved. According to Pappu, everything was fine at the railway station. But suddenly the crowd came. Which caused a stampede and people were buried.

PM Modi expressed grief over the accident

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the stampede on Saturday night at New Delhi railway station. He wrote in a post on X, ‘I am distressed by a stampede at New Delhi railway station. My condolences are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured are healthy soon. Officers are assisting all those who have been affected by this stampede.

Administration was alerted on crowds at Prayagraj railway station

After the death of 15 people in a stampede at New Delhi railway station, the administration is ready on trains and various platforms going to Prayagraj. There is a huge crowd of passengers at Prayagraj station. Railways and UP Police Front are holding the platform.
