Trump administration in action! Gulf of Mexico renamed Gulf of America Mount Denali To Mount McKinley Donald Trump Order NTC
The Donald Trump administration has officially changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to “Gulf of America”. Apart from these, the name of Mount Denali, situated at an altitude of 20 thousand feet above sea level in Alaska, has also been changed to Mount McNally. Changing their names was announced by Trump first in his election promise and then in his first address.
Changing the name of the Gulf used in America comes under the jurisdiction of the administration. On the first day of his tenure, Donald Trump had signed an order to change the name of the 20,000-foot high mountain in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska, spread over 617,800 square miles, from Denali to Mount McNally. The Obama administration officially named this mountain Denali in 2015.

Florida had already started being called ‘Gulf of America’
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had already started using the name “Gulf of America”. He addressed the Gulf of Mexico as the ‘Gulf of America’ while issuing a winter warning, saying that an area of low pressure is crossing the ‘Gulf of America’ and moving towards Florida.
Calling by changed name is the choice of other countries!
The name change by the Donald Trump administration will not affect any other country and there is no need for any other country to do so. In simple language, calling the Gulf of Mexico as ‘Gulf of America’ could be a matter of any other country, the Trump administration or the American people’s own beliefs.
The process of registering the changed names in American documents will continue in the next 30 days. For example, till now there is no formal international agreement or protocol for naming marine areas. It was in the 16th century when the name Gulf of Mexico was first used by a Spaniard, when this name was first recorded on the map. However, America itself was discovered in the 18th century (1776).

Suggestion to change the name of America!
“For us and for the whole world, it is still the Gulf of Mexico,” Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said at a press conference Tuesday before the name change. Giving a tit-for-tat reply to Trump, he also said, “The name of America should be changed to America Mexicana or Mexicana America.”
