America’s future President Donald Trump (will take oath on January 20, 2025) has demanded an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine. Referring to the latest situation in Syria in a post on his personal social media platform ‘Truth Social’, he said that Assad has lost power, there have been many deaths, there should be an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine.
Trump wrote in his post, ‘Assad is gone. He fled his country. Its patron, Russia led by Vladimir Putin, was no longer interested in protecting it. There was no reason for Russia to interfere in the Syrian civil war. Because of Ukraine, he lost interest in Syria, where about 600,000 Russian soldiers lie injured or dead. The Ukraine war should never have started, and now it may continue forever.

Donald Trump further said, ‘Russia and Iran are in a weak position at this time. One Ukraine is weak because of the war and poor economy, the other because of Israel’s success in Gaza and Lebanon. Zelensky and Ukraine should also reach an agreement to stop this madness. They also lost 400,000 soldiers and civilians. There should be an immediate ceasefire and talks should begin. Too many lives are being ruined unnecessarily, too many families have been destroyed, and if this continues, it could get much bigger and much worse. I know Vladimir very well. This is the time for their initiative. China can help in this. The world is waiting!’
