US President Donald Trump’s/ Administration has issued a notification to remove 2000 employees of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and send thousands of others on leave.

According to the AP report, this step has been taken by a federal judge on Friday after allowing the administration to remove USAID employees from work. The US District Judge Carl Nichols dismissed the government’s request for a temporary ban on the government’s plan.

In the notification sent to USAID employees, it has also been said that all the direct appointed employees of USAID will be placed on administrative leave from 11:59 pm on February 23, except those employees who have mission-based necessary works, major leadership and special Are associated with the designated programs.

Usaid employees, especially people posted abroad, expressed concern about their safety and communication facilities from the government. On this, Judge Karl Nichols said that the administration has assured them that the employees deployed abroad will be given emergency communication facility. Under this, a mobile app with two-way radio and a panic button facility will be available.
