There is tremendous turmoil in Canada at this time. There is a lot of pressure on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. On the one hand, the country’s economy is going into decline and on the other hand, it is troubled by Trump’s warning of imposing 25 percent tariff on Canadian imports into America. Meanwhile, Trump has taken a dig at the resignation of the country’s Finance Minister.
Trump said in a social media post that the Great State of Canada is shocked that their Finance Minister resigned or was fired by Governor Justin Trudeau. His behavior was very toxic and not appropriate for the unhappy citizens of Canada. He will not be missed.
Canada’s Deputy PM and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland suddenly resigned on Monday. While resigning, he had said that he is no longer in agreement with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the path to betterment of Canada.
In fact, Freeland was about to present figures of economic decline in Parliament. But a few hours before this he left the post. The document was widely expected to reveal that the government has set a much larger budget deficit for 2023-24 than planned.
Freeland had written a letter to Trudeau saying that for the last several weeks you and I have been confused about taking Canada forward.
Trump had made fun of Trudeau even before this
During Trudeau’s US tour, he reached Trump’s residence Mar-a-Lago. Where Trump and Trudeau had dinner together. After this dinner, Trump had said in a social media post that it was a pleasure to have dinner with Canadian Governor Justin Trudeau. I would like to meet with the Governor again soon so we can continue our discussion on tariffs and trade. Its results will be excellent.
After this reaction of Trump, the question started arising that why did Trump call Trudeau the governor? Trump had offered Trudeau during dinner that Canada should become the 51st state of America. However, this offer was given jokingly. But Trudeau became uncomfortable after hearing this and started laughing.
Let us tell you that Trudeau had visited America after Trump’s announcement in which he had said that after taking oath, he would impose 25 percent tariff on Canadian products imported into America. Trump had said that this decision could be taken because of immigrants coming to America illegally from Canada. Because Trudeau has failed to crack down on these illegal immigrants.
