The minority welfare officer of the district has written a letter to the government to cancel the recognition of 90 madrasas who do not make an automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (immense) ID card in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the Bahraich administration has also issued notice to these schools to cancel the recognition of 24 schools of Secondary Education Council.
What is the matter?
Under the National Education Policy 2020, the Ministry of Education has instructed schools across the country to create a ‘APAAR ID’ of students across the country to make a digital identity of students and provide their educational documents at the same place. After the formation of immense ID, educational documents of all students will be available digitally at one place.

What do District Minority Officer say?
District Minority Welfare Officer Sanjay Mishra said that the department was constantly writing letters to 301 recognized madrasas of the district to get immense ID, out of which 90 madrasas have not started any work towards making immense IDs. Therefore, he has written a letter to the government to cancel the recognition of these 90 madrasas of the district.
Secondary Education Department also gave notice
Along with the madrasas of the district, a notice has been issued to cancel the recognition for not making immense IDs to 24 schools operated under the Department of Secondary Education in the district. District school inspector Manoj Kumar Ahirwar of the district said that strict instructions are being issued by the government to get immense IDs of school children, but two out of 306 secondary schools in the district have not yet made immense IDs, which has not yet been made immense IDs, which He has issued a notice to cancel the recognition of these schools.
