The Uttar Pradesh government made a big administrative change for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. The Yogi government transferred 9 IAS officers on Monday, followed by 16 more IAS officers, including District Magistrates of 6 districts Ayodhya, Chandauli, Amethi, Badaun, Etawah and Kannauj on Tuesday. DM Chandra Vijay Singh of Ayodhya has been made special secretary infrastructure and industrial development. Chandauli DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde has been made the new DM of Ayodhya.

Prayagraj Municipal Corporation Commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg Chandauli has been made the new District Magistrate. Similarly, CDO Silam Sai Teja of Jaunpur has been made the Commissioner of Prayagraj Municipal Corporation. Gorakhpur Joint Magistrate Mrunali Avinash Joshi has been made the director of CDO Jaunpur, Amethi as Director of National AYUSH Mission. Saharanpur Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Chauhan has been posted as DM Amethi, Higher Education Department High Secretary Shipu Giri has been posted as Saharanpur Municipal Commissioner, Nation Ayush Mission Director Mahendra Verma as RERA Secretary.

Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Yogi became DM of Kannauj

Apart from this, Kannauj DM Shubhant Kumar Shukla has been made the District Magistrate of Etawah. Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been made DM of Kannauj. Etawah DM Avnish Kumar Rai has been made the District Magistrate of Badaun. DM Nidhi Srivastava of Badaun has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary of Higher Education Department. Sandeep Bhagia, CDO of Muzaffarnagar, has been made the State Tax Additional Commissioner of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Joint Magistrate Kandarkar Kamal Kishore Deshbhushan of Meerut has been made CDO Muzaffarnagar and waiting IAS Rajkumar as Special Secretary in the Department of Energy. Keeping in mind the current situation of Sambhal, the Yogi government deployed three more PCS officers in the district on Tuesday. Sudhir Kumar has been made Municipal Magistrate Sambhal from SDM Aligarh, Vikas Chandra has been made SDM Sambhal from SDM Kushinagar and Ashutosh Tiwari has been made SDM Sambhal from SDM Basti.

9 IAS officers were transferred a day earlier

Earlier on Monday, the Yogi government transferred Sameer Verma, Secretary, Social Welfare Department, to the post of Inspector General of Registration. Bhupendra Chaudhary, posted in Public Works Department, was made Commissioner, Compost and Logistics Department. Hiralal, State Nodal Officer of Pradhan Mantri Agricultural Irrigation Scheme, was made Commissioner and Registrar Cooperative Societies. Secretary RERA Pramod Kumar Upadhyay has been sent to the post of Commissioner Sugarcane and Sugar, while sugarcane commissioner PN Singh was waited for two months leave. Vaibhav Srivastava, Secretary, Home Department, was made PCDF as Managing Director. B. Chandrakala was made Secretary Panchayati Raj. They also have additional charge of women’s welfare department. Amit Kumar Singh, Special Secretary, Urban Development Department, was made Director Panchayati Raj Department. Naveen Kumar GS, Secretary, Irrigation Department, was given the additional charge of the State Nodal Officer of Pradhan Mantri Agricultural Irrigation Scheme.
