Devotees are facing heavy problems to return home after the ongoing Mahakumbh bath in Prayagraj. Thousands of devotees have been waiting for the bus and train for hours at Nehru Park Bus Stand and Prayagraj Junction, but they are getting upset due to lack of adequate means. Devotees say that neither the one who gives any information to them is present nor any administrative system is running smoothly.

Difficulty in returning home from Prayagraj

Devotee Dayanand Chaudhary, who came from Delhi, said that he has been sitting at the bus stand from 3:00 am, but till now he has not been able to get any means to return home. He said, buses from here are being run only for those going to Kumbh bath, but there is no bus for those returning home. Neither the railway station is getting any train facility nor any transport service is available from the bus stand. After interrogating many people, it was found that buses would be found after 4:00 pm.

Women are also facing difficulties

The female devotee Anchal said that she too had to face a lot of problems. He said, we are sitting outside the station since 6:00 am, but no means are being found. The platform has been sealed, due to which the passengers are not being allowed inside. Those going out of the station are also being stopped and only those who bathe are being sent forward.

Devotees upset due to lack of facilities

Vishnu Prasad Upadhyay, who was trying to return to Delhi. He told that no bus was found despite sitting for three to four hours. He said, many people questioned, but no one knows anything. Some are saying that if the private bus will go, then no one is giving correct information about the government bus.
