The fear of tiger has spread in Rehman Kheda and Mithe Nagar villages of Lucknow for the last 60 days. The Forest Department has taken various measures like cage, scaffolding, CCTV and ambush, but till now there has been no success in catching the tiger. Villagers say that it has become difficult to get out of the house.

There is an atmosphere of panic among the village people and schools and colleges are closed. Its impact is visible on children’s education. The situation of fear is that farmers are shying away from working in the fields. Women are afraid to go to the toilet. The villagers say that their life has become difficult due to the fear of the tiger.

Villagers troubled by tiger terror for 60 days

Uttar Pradesh Forest Minister visited the forests of Rehman Kheda on Sunday and took stock of the efforts to capture the tiger. He said that the forest department is using adequate technology and if needed, help will be taken from the World Tiger Rescue Team. Hopefully soon the tiger will be tranquilized and captured.

Forest department assured to catch it as soon as possible

Forest officer Anuradha ji said that all resources from elephants to drones are being used. He also assured that the tiger will be caught soon. The villagers have accused the government of negligence. They want a solution to this problem as soon as possible. They say that tiger terror is affecting their lives.
