In Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have arrested two miscreants who robbed lakhs of rupees from a businessman at gunpoint a week ago. To catch the miscreants, the police took the help of 52 cameras, after which they got success. The police have recovered one lakh rupees in cash, a businessman’s check of one lakh, a pistol and a bike from the accused. The police have registered a case against both the accused and sent them to jail. Two accused are still absconding and are being searched.
The incident took place near Alamchandra village of Sandipan Ghat police station area. Here, on the evening of November 19, when Ramdev Maurya was returning home after closing his seed shop in Muratganj, bike-riding miscreants committed robbery at gunpoint near the village. The miscreants had fled away after looting two lakh rupees from the businessman at gunpoint. In this case, the local police had registered a case and started action. SP Brijesh Kumar Srivastava had formed three teams to uncover the incident.
