UP woman held in Kerala for allegedly killing stepdaughter lclk

A woman from Uttar Pradesh was arrested on Friday in Kothamangalam, Kerala for the murder of her six-year-old step daughter. According to the police, Ayaz Khan’s daughter Muskaan was found dead in her bed on Thursday morning. She was originally from Uttar Pradesh.

After the incident, when the police detained Ayaz Khan and his second wife Anisha and interrogated them, the reason behind the murder came to light. According to the news agency, Anisha confessed to the crime during interrogation, after which the police arrested her on Friday.

Regarding this incident of murder, police say that Anisha strangled the girl to death after she went out of Ayaz’s house at around 8:30 pm on Wednesday night. Ayaz Khan works as a carpenter in Nellikuzhi, Kothamangalam.

The police have also detained a local man named Naushad in this case, who is suspected to be involved in instigating Anisha and Ayaz to commit this crime. Initial police investigation has indicated that a family dispute could be the reason for this incident.

Apart from this, the angle related to ‘black magic’ and ‘sorcery’ is also being investigated in the case. Muskaan’s murder has shocked the local people. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and investigation into the case is ongoing. Taking the matter seriously, the police have assured to complete the investigation soon and punish the culprits.
