Following the backlash, Urvashi took to social media to issue a heartfelt apology. In an Instagram story, she expressed her regret, writing, “I hope this letter finds you in good health and strength. I am writing to you with a heavy heart and a sincere apology. Until now, I had been unaware of the true intensity of your situation, and I deeply regret my ignorance.” Urvashi admitted that in the midst of her personal excitement surrounding her film Daaku Maharaj and the gifts she was receiving, she failed to recognize the severity of Saif Ali Khan’s distressing situation.
