Transgender in America will no longer be admitted to the army. The US Army gave this information by posting on the social media platform X. At the same time, soldiers will not be allowed for gender change and neither will the army provide the facility of gender-ending care (gender-suitable care). The US Army wrote in the X post, ‘Now transgender persons will not be allowed to join the army. Army will stop performing or facilitating the processes related to gender change for soldiers.

The US Army wrote in the X post, ‘With immediate effect, individuals with gender dysphoria have been banned from being admitted to the army. All medical procedures associated with confirmation or convenience have been stopped for service members. Individuals suffering from gender dysphoria have voluntarily served our country and will be treated with dignity and respect. The announcement follows an executive order signed by President Trump on 27 January, directing the Pentagon (US Department of Defense) to set a policy for transgender troops within 30 days.

Donald Trump said in his first speech after taking oath as the 47th President of America that in his second term, there will be no third gender space in the US, now only women and men will be two gender. Trump also tried to ban transgender soldiers during his first term (2016 to 2020), but he could not do so due to legal action. According to Pentagon data, there are about 13 lakh soldiers in the US Army. At the same time, the number of transgender soldiers is around 15,000. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an FI Davit in a court of Washington DC on 7 February, stating that the recruitment of transgender in the US Army has been banned.
