The Railway Ministry said that in the video, a glass of water and a mobile phone are kept on a flat surface inside the Vande Bharat sleeper train, the water level remained stable despite the train running at a speed of 180 km per hour, which is normal in high-speed rail travel. During the last three days, Vande Bharat sleeper train touched the speed of 180 km per hour in several trials on a 40 km long track in Rajasthan. This trial will continue till the end of this month. After this, this train will be made available for the use of passengers for long distance travel.
The Railway Ministry said that after the trials are completed, the train will be evaluated by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS). After testing at maximum speed, after receiving the final certificate, the train will be included in Indian Railways and handed over for regular service.
