Lord Ram married Goddess Sita on Margashirsha Shukla Panchami. Therefore this date is celebrated as Shri Ram Vivah Utsav. Lord Shri Ram is the symbol of consciousness and Mother Sita is the symbol of nature power. In such a situation, this day becomes very important due to the union of consciousness and nature. It is considered very auspicious to get married to Lord Ram and Mother Sita on this day. This year the festival of Vivah Panchami is being celebrated on 6th December i.e. today.
Will get boon on Vivah Panchami
If there is any obstacle in getting married, then on this day that problem gets resolved and one gets the blessing of desired marriage. Problems in marital life also end. Joint worship of Lord Ram and Mother Sita removes the obstacles in marriage. On this day, it is auspicious to recite the marriage story of Lord Ram and Sita ji in Balkand. How to get Ram-Sita married?
On the day of Vivah Panchami, first of all take a pledge to organize Siya-Ram marriage. Establish a statue or idol of Lord Ram and Mother Sita. Offer yellow clothes to Lord Ram and red clothes to Mother Sita. Then recite the marriage incident in Balkand in front of them or chant the mantra “Om Jankivallabhay Namah” 108 times. After this, make an alliance between Mother Sita and Lord Ram and perform their aarti. After this, pray to him for the solution of your marriage related problems. Finally, keep the knotted clothes safe with you.
Great remedy for Vivah Panchami
Invite a new couple to your home and respect them appropriately. Feed them and take blessings from both of them by giving them gifts as per your capacity. Keep a picture or statue of Ram Darbar in the house. There is unity in the family and family life remains happy.
Chanting of special mantras on Vivah Panchami
Wear yellow clothes on the day of Vivah Panchami. Chant mantras or couplets as much as you can with Tulsi or sandalwood rosary. Pray for early marriage or happy married life. Then it will be beneficial to chant any one of the couplets written below.
1. The merry sage wandered about. All rituals including negativity were completed. Ram’s head is covered with sand. Sobha is nowhere and caste system is nowhere.
