‘Vote Jihad Vs Dharm Yudh…’, Maharashtra election battle in final phase, Fadnavis’ song released – Jago Hindu… Jago toh once – Vote Jihad Vs Dharm Yudh Maharashtra election battle in final phase Fadnavis song released ntc
BJP took the vote jihad controversy further in Maharashtra. Maharashtra BJP Mahila Morcha President Chitra Wagh released the song of Deputy CM Fadnavis. The lyrics of the song sung during the foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Mandir are, ‘Jaago…Jaago toh ek baar…’ Chitra Wagh attacked Muslim Board spokesperson – Sajjad Nomani with this song…who criticized those who voted for BJP. There was an appeal for boycott.
Posting on X, Chitra Wagh said, ‘Sajjad Nomani has challenged for vote jihad. So now we will also do religious war. Now is the time to wake up and create public awareness… Our leader Ma. The song that Devendraji sang at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Mandir will now be our mantra. Wake up… wake up at least once! If not now then never… Jai Shri Ram…!’
In fact, referring to the alleged appeal of “vote-jihad” by an Islamic scholar Sajjad Nomani against the Mahayuti government, Fadnavis had called for a “crusade of votes” to counter it at a rally in Pune on Friday. Nomani had said that the person who votes for BJP should be ostracized and his hookah-water should be stopped.

Shiv Sena UBT attack on Fadnavis
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has questioned whether Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ call for a “crusade for votes” does not violate the Model Code of Conduct of the Election Commission of India. Addressing a campaign rally in Dombivali in the district ahead of the assembly elections, Thackeray said he was asked to remove the words “Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji” from his party’s election anthem ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, but he refused to do so. Had refused.
Former CM Thackeray said, “Devendra Fadnavis has called for a “crusade for votes”. I am asking the Election Commission, is the crusade in line with your model code of conduct?”
Uddhav Thackeray also said that today the BJP is a “hybrid” filled with opportunistic leaders imported from outside. He said, “The BJP, which grew because of the sacrifice of its workers who dedicated their lives to the organisation, has now become a hybrid, Which is a den of opportunistic politics.” Pointing out the difference between his vision of Hindutva and the BJP’s, he said, “Our Hindutva lights stoves in people’s homes; BJP’s Hindutva burns them.”
Pawar is also an attacker
On the other hand, Sharad Pawar has made a big allegation against Devendra Fadnavis. Pawar said that Fadnavis is trying to spoil the good atmosphere between Hindus and Muslims. He said that when there is a good environment between Hindus and Muslims, Devendra Fadnavis is trying to spoil it. He said that by giving the statement of vote jihad, Devendra Fadnavis is trying to create discord in both Hindu and Muslim communities.
