Rijiju said, ‘You want only Muslims to sit in the Waqf Board. If there is a dispute with Hindu or any other religion, how will it be decided. This type of body should be secular. Kiren Rijiju said- on the CAA, who said that after its passage, the citizenship of Muslims will be taken away. Somebody’s citizenship took away. What did Rajya Sabha leader Opposition Kharge say?
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said on the Waqf Bill that this bill has been brought with the aim of harassing minorities. He said that the fundamental elements that were in the 1995 Act have been included, but many such things have also been added which should not have happened. Kharge pointed to many flaws of this bill and described it as harmful in the interest of minorities.
