Former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal was fatally attacked on Wednesday. Badal, who was guarding the gate of the Golden Temple of Amritsar for the second consecutive day, was fired upon. But due to the alertness of the people present there, a major accident was averted.
