In Prayagraj, the pressure of the crowd of Tuesday in Mahakumbh increased so much that there was a stampede. Due to the crowd on Sangam Noj, more than 10 people have been reported to have died and seven people were injured in the stampede. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Sector 2 of Kumbh area. The Amrit bath has been canceled due to tragic incident and crowd.
