One of the most loved films of Indian cinema, Karan Arjun (1995), is all set to re-release on November 22 this year. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, the Rakesh Roshan directorial will have the biggest re-release worldwide for a Hindi film. The film was also special as it featured Hrithik Roshan as an assistant director. A picture, clicked on the sets, features Shah Rukh, Salman and Hrithik posing together. In today’s times, since all three are established stars, the picture has achieved cult status.

Hence, just like father Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan is also excited about the re-release of Karan ArjunHe lent his voice to the re-release trailer and that added to its impact. Furthermore, on the day of its re-release, Hrithik Roshan will be going to a theater with his sons, Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan, to catch the 1995 cult classic.
Rakesh Roshan, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungamarevealed that Hrithik Roshan and his two sons will be buying the tickets to Karan Arjun on November 22 and watching it on the big screen with the audience.
Rakesh Roshan said, “Hrithik is taking his children to the theatre. He wants them to know what a wholesome entertainer is supposed to be like (smiles).”
Besides Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Karan Arjun also starred Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, Rakhee Gulzar, Amrish Puri and Ashok Saraf. It is the story of a mother who loses her two young sons after they are killed by a local chieftain. She is confident that her sons will return and kill the chieftain. The villagers make fun of her for her belief. But her conviction proves right. The sons are reborn and as fate would have it, they arrive at the village to fulfill their mother’s wish. Thanks to its theme, performances, music and mass moments, Karan Arjun was one of the biggest blockbusters of the 90s.
