Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was on the stage of Aaj Tak organized Dharma Sansad before the Mahakumbh in Sangamnagar Prayagraj on Friday. In the session titled ‘Maha Preparation of Maha Kumbh’, CM Yogi expressed his opinion in an outspoken manner on every question, from the preparations for the Kumbh to the claim of organizing the fair on Waqf land.
CM Yogi said that devotees from all over the world are coming to the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj and if someone hurts their faith and devotion by saying that sir, this is Waqf land. He said that I want to ask that the event which is a symbol of India’s heritage of thousands of years has been taking place here. CM Yogi said that even when there was no government assistance, this event was organized here without any invitation.

He said that if someone calls it a Waqf land then just say whether it is a Waqf Board or a board of land mafia. This kind of evil trend must be stopped and we will also stop it. CM Yogi said that we have made some amendments here that any land which has been occupied or claimed by Waqf, its complete records of 1363 crops should be checked. Wherever the word Waqf comes, first look at whose name the land was in and then we are working to get it back.

CM Yogi said that anywhere, on any land which will be in public use. Be it the land of holy places related to Hindu faith or government land, we will not allow any such land mafia board to occupy it. He clearly said that this is the land of Kumbh and it will continue to be available to the coming sages and saints for organizing Kumbh.

He said that this is the largest temporary city in the world and at least 40 crore people are going to come here. People should see how one India will come together at one place and take a dip together in the Sangam, rising above the caste system as a better India. Earlier, CM Yogi claimed that the water of Ganga is fit for bathing.
