Zanai Bhosle, granddaughter of the legendary Asha Bhosle, is carving a niche for herself in the entertainment world, blending her family’s rich musical legacy with her own modern flair. Reflecting on her lineage, Zanai expressed her gratitude for being part of the iconic Bhosle, Burman, and Mangeshkar family. “I feel honored and blessed to just be associated with such big names first off. But I do also realize that these legends are also my grandparents,” she said, highlighting the deep connection between her personal and professional life.
Zanai has not only embraced the musical legacy of her grandmother, Asha Bhosle, but is also exploring her own creative potential. “Very recently I’ve found the skills of a music composer as well as lyricist within me, and I’ve been working on an album which I have composed, written, and sung in,” Zanai revealed, adding, “I am thrilled to be sharing it with the world very soon!”
Exciting Releases and a Grand Performance
Zanai announced that the journey of her new album will begin on December 29, 2024, with the release of her first single. She will be performing it live at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in a show alongside Sonu Nigam and her grandmother, Asha Bhosle. Speaking about the preparation for the event, she said, “We are deep in preparation, and I am extremely excited to put forth my emotions through music and take you on a beautiful musical journey which is closest to my heart.”
The singer-composer also shared her vision for consistent musical releases, hinting that her work will keep evolving over time. “Music will continue to release so on and so forth!” she said, exuding enthusiasm for the future.
Transitioning into Acting
In addition to her musical pursuits, Zanai has also ventured into acting. She revealed that she has signed a few films slated for release next year. “I have also signed a few films in the coming year which are extremely close to my heart, and I’m looking forward to presenting myself as an actor as well,” she shared. Zanai also expressed a desire to combine her acting and musical talents, saying, “I’m hoping to do some playback for myself as well.”
