Agra: Accused throwing a piece of meat in Jama Masjid, arrested, Man Accused of Throwing Meat Inseide Agra Mosque to Be Taken on Police Remand LCLK

The accused arrested in the case of throwing a piece of meat at the historic Jama Masjid of Agra will take Nazruddin on police remand. Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Sonam Kumar said that only Nazruddin’s involvement has been revealed in the investigation, but it is feared that other people may also participate in this incident. His role will be investigated during police remand.

According to the news agency report, Nazruddin was arrested on Friday and the next day he was sent to jail in judicial custody. Rukhsana, the mother of the accused, said that her son is mentally unstable since childhood.

He said, ‘His wife used to treat him like servants. About 20 days ago, he publicly abused his father and slapped him by his brother. After this, he had said that he will send everyone to jail and now he has done this action.

It is worth noting that in the CCTV camera installed in the mosque late on Thursday night, Nazruddin appeared entering the mosque with a packet. Later investigation found that the packet had pieces of meat which he had kept in the mosque complex.

A large number of people demonstrated after Friday prayers in protest against this incident. However, the police have also registered a case against 60 other people protesting on charges of dissolving law and order.
