Using Snapchat while driving at high speed in Kolar area of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, proved fatal. The speeding car fell about 50 feet into the river at night, killing two friends. While a friend has been injured. The incident took place in Kolar Six Lane.
According to Kolar Police, 25 year old Palash Gaikwad, 22 year old Vineet and 24 year old Piyush Gajbhiye had gone for a drive in the car. Vineet was driving the car.
Injured Piyush told that Vineet kept using Snapchat while driving. The speed of the car was very high, but due to a sharp turn just before the bridge of Kerava river near Inayatpur on Kolar Six Lane, Vineet could not control the car and the car fell from the bridge into the river. As soon as it fell into the river, the doors of the car got locked, due to which Vineet and Palash could not get out. Whereas Piyush came out after breaking the glass and came to the bridge and informed the people about the accident.
Police came on the spot, broke the glass of the car, took out the bodies of Vineet and Palash and sent them to Hamidia Hospital. Piyush, who was injured in the incident, is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
