CM Yogi reached Prayagraj before bathing the nectar of Basant Panchami, instructions to the officers to arrange ‘zero error’ – Mahakumbh 2025 Basant Panchami Amrit Snan Yogi Adityanath Prayagraj Visit NTC

The Yogi Adityanath government is adopting a policy of zero tolerance after the incidents of stampede in Mahakumbh and before bathing the nectar of Basant Panchami. The Chief Minister has given strict instructions to the officials to focus on ‘Zero Error’ management to avoid any kind of incident. During the review meeting in Prayagraj on Saturday, he said that the traditional Shobha Yatra of the Akharas should be organized with grandeur and all the necessary preparations should be completed on time.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went on a visit to Mahakumbh in Prayagraj today. After meeting with the fair administration here, he said, “Whether they are revered saints, kalpasi, devotees coming from all over the country or domestic and international tourists, the safety and convenience of all should be ensured.” He has instructed the officials to decide the routes and schedule for the Shobha Yatra and the movements of the devotees.

Instructions to ensure strict arrangements for the program of 2-3 February

The Chief Minister emphasized that 2 and 3 February would be important and said that no VIP protocol will be implemented before or after the major bathing days. He also directed the Transport Department to ensure proper parking of buses, so that the congestion of unnecessary traffic can be prevented and ensured smooth movement of the people. The CM said in a strict tone, “The movement of people should not be interrupted.”

Chief Minister Adityanath also instructed the officials to ensure that all arrangements for Basant Panchami are fixed. Due to the remaining one day in the festival, he gave instructions to take all the important steps to make the program a success.

Amrit bath should be done smoothly- CM

On 3 February, on the importance of Amrit bathing, the CM said that it should be done smoothly. He has also instructed the officials to install strong barriers, to put up signage at high places and ensure proper lighting, so that the devotees do not face any kind of trouble at night.

On 3 February, a large number of devotees are expected to come from eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Nepal, the CM instructed the officials to make every necessary arrangements. He directed that people should not be allowed to pass through IERT flyover at Prayag Junction. Barricades should be installed where necessary, so that it can be ensured that instead of stopping the crowd, it can be taken to open places.

Chief Minister Adityanath said, “Every aspect of the mega event should be arranged carefully, so that there is no scope for any kind of mistake.” The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to increase the parking space and ensure that the devotees who come for the Sangam bath had to walk at least on foot. He also directed that senior police officers up to SP level should be appointed for transportation management at major places.

The grandeur of Mahakumbh and praise around the world!

CM Yogi Adityanath said that the grandeur and system of Mahakumbh is being praised all over the world and many people are eager to come to Prayagraj Sangam. Everyone should contribute in maintaining this enthusiasm and enthusiasm. The Chief Minister also instructed senior officials to visit the areas where there are problems. He emphasized the importance of strong leadership and also directed the team of the fair administration to deal strictly with all the challenges under any circumstances.

CM Yogi also advised counseling of policemen if needed to ensure ‘zero error’ management. He instructed the policemen especially that their behavior should be humble towards the people. The Chief Minister admitted that there is no shortage of police forces on the ground to maintain the system. He said that the state government has been preparing on a large scale for a long time, including making 4-6 lane roads and parking facilities.

To ensure better facilities for the devotees, Chief Minister Adityanath instructed the officials that they can use the surrounding farm lands to increase the parking area if needed. He said that during the major bathing festivals, no one should come to walk far away. He instructed the officials to ensure unruly movement and stop the crowd from strictness. The CM has asked senior officials to be on duty with foods and tents at prominent places.
