Once again a conspiracy to cause a train accident has been foiled in Uttar Pradesh. Here on Saturday, the railway track located on Lucknow-Varanasi route in Sultanpur district was found broken. However, this was soon rectified, due to which there was no impact on rail traffic. This information was given by the Government Railway Police (GRP).

As soon as the information about broken railway track was received in Sultanpur district situated on the railway route on Saturday, railway police and railway engineers came into action. GRP officer Mahavir said that as soon as this information reached him, he immediately alerted his team and along with the engineers reached the broken track near Bedupara village.

The track was repaired without any delay

Bedupara village comes under Lambhua police station area, where this incident took place. Due to the alertness of railway engineers and employees, they managed to repair the track without any delay. The team ensured that the highest safety standards were followed during the repair work to avoid any potential hazards.

Railway tracks were tampered with earlier also

Apart from these, railway officials kept a watch on the entire incident and had increased patrolling in the area till the repair work is completed. However, the police team is investigating how the railway track broke, this is not the first such incident. Earlier, there have been many such incidents in the state, where railway tracks were tampered with, where cylinders were found at some places and iron items at other places, which was seen as a conspiracy to derail the railways.
