According to the information, Savitri Gupta, a resident of Lala Toli ward under Rudrapur Kotwali police station, lives with her son and daughter. Her husband has already died. 35-year-old daughter Rani Gupta was married ten years ago but was living in her maternal home for a few years. On Tuesday she had gone somewhere without informing her family.

At the same time, when she returned home at night, 20-year-old younger brother Brahma Gupta asked her where she was for so long? The sisters started quarreling over this issue and the argument escalated to such an extent that Brahma attacked his elder sister Rani on the head with an iron rod and killed her.

After which the mother of the deceased informed the Rudrapur Kotwali police. On which the local police and SP themselves reached the spot and took information about the case. In which the reason for murder due to domestic dispute has come to light. SP said that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is being done.
