Several Indian passengers flying from Mumbai to Manchester, England were stuck at Kuwait airport for more than 13 hours after the emergency landing of a Gulf Air flight. In the video shared on social media, many passengers can be seen arguing with airport officials.

The passengers complained that they were neither being given food, nor getting any kind of help, nor were they provided lounge facilities. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait said that they immediately took up the matter with Gulf Air and an embassy team reached the airport to help the passengers.
The Embassy has also clarified the visa rules for Indians in Kuwait. In a post shared on social media platform X, the Embassy said, ‘Indian citizens are not covered under Visa on Arrival facility in Kuwait. All government offices are closed today due to the GCC Summit (Gulf Cooperation Council Summit) organized by Kuwait.
3.30 am flight schedule
The embassy said in a post on Twitter that the passengers have so far been accommodated in two airport lounges as airport hotels are not available due to the ongoing summit. Food and water are available in the lounge for stranded passengers.
The embassy said Gulf Air has informed that a flight to Manchester for the stranded passengers has been scheduled for 3.30 am on Monday.
