Meta Platform’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has made a big announcement and he said that the company has unveiled two new models under its Large Language Model (LLM) LLAma. The names of these models are LLAma 4 Scout and LLAma 4 Maverick. Two more models will be introduced in the coming days.
Mark Zuckerberg himself has shared a video on the Instagram platform. He gave information about two LLAMA 4 models in the video and told that he will compete with Google’s Gemini and Openai’s Chatgpt 4o.
Can process in many formats
Let us tell you that Meta’s LLAma is a multimodal AI system. This system can process individual data, which includes texults, videos, images and audio etc. and can convert content into these formats.

These models are the most advanced
Mark Zuckerberg reported that LLAMA 4 Scout and LLAMA 4 Maverick are the most advanced models ever. He further said that both these models will be open source software. In his video, he was also excited about upcoming models.
Getting ready and new models
Not only this, the company is preparing a LLAMA 4 behemoth, which is being claimed that it will be the smartest LLMS model so far and can also be helpful in bringing new models.
