Earlier this week, several condolence and tribute posts were shared in memory of this popular Indian personality, who is hailed as a journalist, writer, ad filmmaker, producer, etc. Among them was Anupam Kher who shared fond memories of Nandy. The post, however, garnered attention for a completely different reason – a remark made by Neena Gupta!

Actress reveals why she called him ‘b**t**d’ openly
In a post shared by Anupam Kher, he penned an emotional note showcasing his camaraderie with the late Nandy. Meanwhile, Neena Gupta took to the post to share a comment to open up about her major feud with Pritish as she accused the latter of unethically making her daughter’s birth certificate public.
“Do u Noooo, what he did to me and I called him a bastard openly. He stole my babies birth certificate and published it,” Neena wrote in the comment and added, “So no RIP, you understand, and I have a proof of it”. However, a few moments later, the actress removed the comment but not before it grabbed the interest of social media users.
What happened between Neena Gupta and Pritish Nandy
After Pritish Nandy allegedly published the birth certificate of Masaba Gupta, the information about her being the daughter of Neena Gupta and the already married West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards, born out of wedlock, became public. Followed by this information leak, the actress and her young daughter had to face severe criticism and were shunned by many members of the society.
Pritish Nandy’s demise
On January 8, Pritish Nandy passed away in Mumbai at the age of 73. The news of his death was confirmed by his son and filmmaker Kushan Nandy to Screen. However, there was no clarity provided on the cause of his death. Followed by this news, many celebrities who have worked with Nandy penned heartfelt messages on social media including Anupam Kher.
