Prayagraj: Kumbh Mela land belongs to Waqf Board? Know what is the whole matter

A new controversy has arisen regarding the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Jamaat President Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi has claimed that the Kumbh Mela is being organized on the land of Waqf Board. He said that Muslims are showing big heart and giving permission to hold the fair on this land. However, Prayagraj District Administration and All India Sunni Waqf Board have rejected this claim. A Waqf Board official said that this claim is baseless and has been made only to remain in the media headlines.
