In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, the court sentenced a 22 -year -old man to life imprisonment for raping his three -year -old niece last year. Special Public Prosecutor Shubh Mishra said on Tuesday that in his order passed on Monday, Additional District Judge (Poxo) Kumar Mayank has also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on convict Umakant alias Gabbar.

Special Public Prosecutor said that this incident took place on 2 October last year. On October 4, a case was registered against Umakant Gabbar under the Indian Justice Code and Poxo Act at Bhutta police station in Bareilly district. Charges were framed against the accused on 13 November last year. After this, the judge convicted Umakant and sentenced him.

The court has asked in its order to keep the rapist uncle who wired relationships in jail till the last breath. Special government lawyer said that the amount of fine will be given to the victim for her rehabilitation. Let us tell you that in the rape case in Bareilly last month, the court sentenced a criminal to 20 years. Along with this, a fine of 10 thousand was also imposed.

Special Judge (Poxo Act) Umashankar Kahar ruled the accused Jhabbu on the basis of forensic evidence. The forensic lab confirmed the presence of the sperm of the convict on the victim’s clothes, which strengthened the prosecution case. Special Public Prosecutor Rajiv Tiwari had told that the incident took place on April 6, 2020 in a village in Hafizganj police station area.

The special public prosecutor had told that the incident happened when the girl was going to the farm with some other children to give food to her uncle. Meanwhile, Jhabbu stopped him on the way. He made him a victim of his lust. Other children reported this to his family member. The criminal also tried to kill the victim, but she survived.
