A psychologist’s job is to provide counseling and show the right direction, but one such psychologist, leave alone showing the right direction to the children, has ruined the lives of many girls. This figure is not just one or two but is more than 50. It includes many girls who were raped by this psychologist when they were minors. Later, even after her marriage, he blackmailed her by showing her her photo and kept raping her.
This case is from Nagpur, Maharashtra, where a psychologist was allegedly blackmailing and sexually exploiting more than 50 students for the last 15 years. The age of this psychologist is 47 years and he is the father of two girls. It provided residential psychological counseling to children and gave sessions to children coming from rural areas like Bhandara and Gondia districts. In the name of this ‘counselling camp’, he used to take boys and girls out and rape the poor girls.
The exploits of the accused are not limited to this, rather he has also molested many women in his area. CCTV footage of this has also surfaced and the police have registered an FIR in this matter. Because of his actions, he has been beaten many times in the middle of the road. Despite this, Rajesh Dhoke did not give up his activities.
This matter came to light when the accused blackmailed a woman and repeatedly called her to meet her and the woman got fed up and went to the police. Police have registered three separate cases against accused Rajesh under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police have also formed a special committee and are appealing to the victim girls and women to register their complaint against the accused Rajesh Dhoke, because the police also believe that the accused had gone to the counseling camp. In the name of this, many women and girls would have been made their victims for 15 years.
