On Saturday evening, during the construction of a drain in village Subhari Khwaja of Nagal police station area of ​​Saharanpur, the dispute between the two parties escalated so much that the matter reached the level of fighting and stone pelting. Five people including a woman were injured in the incident. Police reached the spot and controlled the situation and took the injured to the hospital.

The incident happened around 6 pm, the construction of a government drain was going on, so that the problem of water drainage in the village could be solved. But the Akil side damaged the drain and started pelting stones at the other side. At the same time, Officer Ali Paksha says that his path was obstructed during the construction of the drain. When he protested, the Akil Paksha attacked him.

Superintendent of Police Dehat Sagar Jain said that he got information about the incident through a viral video on social media. In the video, both the parties were seen fighting and pelting stones. Preliminary investigation revealed that there was already a dispute going on between the two parties regarding water extraction, which turned violent on Saturday.

Police registered the case and started investigation

The police have taken complaints from both the parties and registered cases. The accused Sandeep, who was seen pelting stones in the video, has been detained. Police are investigating the matter and further action is being taken based on the medical reports of the injured.
