According to the information, new notes are being printed in Bangladesh Bank, in which the glimpse of the student movement that took place in the month of July this year will be included. The interim government gave these instructions

According to the central bank, the printing of 20, 100, 500 and 1,000 Tk notes is being done on the instructions of the interim government. According to the report, ‘The new notes will not have the photo of ‘Bangabandhu’ Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

This will be special in new notes

The new notes will include religious structures, Bengali traditions and ‘graffiti’ created during the July Movement. Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Hushanara Shikha said, ‘It is expected that the new notes can be issued in the market within the next six months.’

According to the report, Bank and Finance Ministry officials said that the image of Mujibur Rahman will be removed from the current notes. Initially the designs of these four notes are being changed, and other notes will be redesigned in phases. The Department of Financial Institutions of the Finance Ministry had submitted a detailed design proposal for the new notes in September.

Mujibur Rahman’s statues were also targeted

Let us tell you that even during the movement, the statues of Mujibur Rahman were broken by the protesters. Her statues and wall murals bearing her image were targeted after Sheikh Hasina left the country and came to India.

Hasina had accused Yunus

Hasina has recently accused Yunus of failing to provide security to minorities, especially Hindus. Sheikh Hasina said that Yunus is incapable of running the government and anarchy is spreading in Bangladesh under his rule.
