The BJP on Sunday alleged that former Congress president Sonia Gandhi has links with an organization funded by American businessman George Soros Foundation, which has supported the idea of separating Kashmir from India. The ruling party also accused social media platform X that the relationship reflects foreign influence in India’s internal affairs.
US government rejected the allegations
Meanwhile, the US has rejected BJP’s allegations that it is supporting efforts to destabilize India, while BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said he will ask 10 questions to opposition leader Rahul Gandhi on the issue in the Lok Sabha. Will ask.
The BJP MP said that the media portal, Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and Soros have conspired together with the opposition to destroy India’s economy and defame the Modi government.
The BJP alleged that Sonia Gandhi, who co-chairs the Forum of Democratic Leaders in Asia-Pacific (FDL-AP) Foundation, is linked to the organization which is funded by the George Soros Foundation.

BJP said that FDL-AP Foundation has supported the separation of Kashmir. The BJP also claimed that Sonia Gandhi’s Rajiv Gandhi Foundation promoted a partnership with the George Soros Foundation, “demonstrating the influence of foreign money on Indian organizations.”
BJP said, ‘When Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Adani, George Soros-funded OCCRP telecasted it live. This shows their strong and dangerous relationship and highlights their efforts to derail the Indian economy.
BJP said that Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has publicly described George Soros as an ‘old friend’. BJP had claimed on December 5 that the American “deep state” conspired with OCCRP and Rahul Gandhi to damage India’s image.
